Born and raised in El Salvador he left behind his parents and 10 siblings to emigrate to the US for an opportunity to help provide for his family. He started his culinary career as a dishwasher and discovered a passion and desire to learn more and grow. As a self-taught chef he has had the pleasure of working in kitchens for concepts like The Cheesecake Factory, J. Alexanders, Seasons 52, Grille 401, and Beachhouse Pompano. Making his debut as a chef with Tulio’s Tacos he focuses his offerings on small plates with big taste and is known for his Latin/Mexican inspired dishes. In his spare time he enjoys playing soccer and baseball and returning home to visit his family.
